MNDOA Announces Fall Conference

Conference to be held at Mall of America

10/29/2009 -- The Minnesota D.A.R.E. Officer's announced that the fall training conference will be held at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN.  This is training session will include the certification of D.A.R.E. Officer's in the new prescription drug lessons.  These lessons include information for 5th grade and 7th grade students as well as for community groups.  

The conference begins at 9am continuing until 4pm.  A pharmacist will provide the needed background information regarding the abuse of over the counter (OTC) and prescription drugs.  The conference is open to Educators, Crime Prevention Specialists and D.A.R.E. Officers.
