MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension
The Training Coordinator from the MN BCA sits on our MN D.A.R.E. Officers Board to assist in functions of training new D.A.R.E. Officers in the MN annual D.A.R.E. Officer's Training (DOT) held at the end of January and into February. During the DOT, Officers learn the D.A.R.E. Curriculum, class room management, various teaching skills, and many other skills needed to be successful with their future students in the classroom! The course is an intense 2 weeks of training that is not your "typical" law enforcement training. Departments that choose to send an officer to become D.A.R.E. certified not only help their officer(s) reach greater potential and develop new skills, but will have a bigger impact on their community when they return from training! If you would like more details please contact Taylor Kristoffe-Jones by using one of the various contact forms below!
